one night with the traders

one night with the traders

hello fellas., its 1.36am in Malaysia right now and i just done processing this picture. taken with notorious vedd few days ago at the Traders Hotel famous Skybar during blue hour. it was my first visit to the bar and i really like the cozy atmosphere there and the awesome view it provides. super awesome. i would like to give another shot there, maybe mid-year when the sun set view is somewhere directly behind the two towers :)

Note:
this is a digitally blended image. consists of 5 exposures. and its shot on my daugthers pillow. yes. pillow as a "bean bag" because no tripod is allowed up there. in fact, they wont allow any 3 legged device that can hold a camera on it.

the evening stillness

the evening stillness

taken at Putrajaya, by the Putra Lake. using the divider as leading line straight to the Putra Mosque and Jabatan Perdana Menteri using my B+W ND110 i managed to get 30 seconds enough exposure to freeze the lake. actually i got a shot with 120 seconds long exposure but i want to keep the sky as natural as possible :)

rendezvous with last light

rendezvous with last light

taken on 2nd January 2012 at around the famous Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin or some people call it Iron Mosque because more than 70% of its construction material is from iron. i waited for the light until i when i was about to pack my things, the last light started the show :)

Putra Mosque is Red Mosque

Putra Mosque is Red Mosque

the blue sky and healthy clouds were so irresistable. so after i finished with my client, i rushed myself to this place to catch some long exposure shots with my dearly B+W ND110. a filter i havent used for such long time :) i think the hot sun burnt my skin a bit because i walked under the sun starting from 4.00pm until 5.30pm hahaa!

have a great Friday and enjoy your weekend fellas!

domination of silence

domination of silence

taken at Bagan Nahkoda Omar, Sabak Bernam. during a deceptive sunset :) why deceptive sunset? when i was on my way to this beach which is about 12-15 km from the main road, the sky was looking very gorgeous, heavy bright clouds, shiny sunlights, yellowish tones and whatever factor thats gonna make every landscape shooter's heart pounding orgasmicly..

but what happened is.. when i arrived at this location, and just when i started to take out my camera gears.. the weather started to get all dark and moody, leaving the bright lights behind, covered with dark clouds. so i just shot whatever is left for me for the day. despite what had happened, i still make my way home with a smile on my face. just to think positive, i know many landcape/photojournalist/wedding photographers also experienced the same thing, or even worse :)
