1950s Kitchen Design with a Chambers Range

The colors are saturated mango yellow, watermelon pink, and slate blue. With no textiles or wallpaper to interrupt the flat fields of color, this 1952 kitchen is modern with a big M ... no mistake about that, but still has the traditional elements so popular at the time. With the right range and fridge it would be cool in any restored ranch or mid-century colonial.

Are there no handles on the upper cabinets? I think of that as a more modern trend. And the light fixture is bare/uncovered on the ceiling!

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called The Colorful Kitchen [Vintage], and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Fantastic. Someday, I want a kitchen with a pink or yellow counter.

Chambers stove, though. Points for that, even if the ceiling tiles are ick.

It's the stove that does it. I covet that thing.
