1949 Living Room in the Berkshires

    This very "painterly" image appealed to me on so many levels, I had to scan it. The furniture, by Knoll, and the polished birch woodwork are just a few of its charms. This is a room of my dreams and, sadly, it's likely to remain there. ;-)

      The caption said "polished birch". Next time I sit down to do some more research, I'll dig this out and find out more. It's been a while since I scanned this.
