    Finally, and on a whim, I decided to cross over the bridge and take this shot from Fort Baker. I had been taking pictures of the bridge from Chrissy Fields and Fort Point and thought that I need another perspective, and shots of other Flickr members on this location has always inspired me to get this shot, too.

    One reason I wanted to take this shot is because of the unbelievably beautiful (albeit way too dry) weather we have here. There is a rainshower forecast in the next few days and not sure if that will spill over to the next weekend so here I am.

    Another reason is that during the winter months, the bridge is practically cloud- and fog-free. It's funny that during the summer months, while other parts of the mainland are simmering in high temps, the Bridge is practically blurred or covered with thick fog. And speaking of which, in the coming months I'd like to take a shot of the bridge with some fog as it brings some ooomph to the overall scenery.
