Taken on an outing to Tatton Park in Cheshire with Christine. I liked the aesthetic of this couple sat on a bench with the tree to their right and a rather dramatic sky behind.

I noticed how great these orange berries looked in the early morning sun (shinning low and from camera right) a few days ago and thought it was such a shame that they were framed by a busy main road.

So today I decided to try and capture this contrast in my photograph as well as including the sign for a local bicycle shop as perhaps greater use of forms of transport such as bikes could pose a possible solution to the problem of our over congested cities?

This shot is taken from the ferry crossing on the River Dee in Huntingdon, Chester looking down stream towards The Mount or Barrel Well Hill as it is also known.

This was the site where public executions used to be held in Chester on account of it's prominent position on the hill making it visible for miles around.

I spotted these ducklings all huddled together on the edge of the canal as I walked into work this morning. I managed to capture a couple of shots before their mother started to get a little anxious and I thought it best to leave them in peace.
