Sorbetto with Heirloom Details

My second Sorbetto. For this version, I removed the front pleat and added fagotting and decorative tucks down the center front.

love it, was it hard? I have seen tutorials in the internet, but was a little afraid to try. It looks great.

Both techniques were new to me and I was surprised at how easy the fagotting was. I basted the two pieces onto some butcher paper and that made the stitching really easy. You should definitely give it a try!

Thank you! I'll think about doing a tutorial if I get enough interest, but in the meantime there are very clear tutorials for fagotting (fagoting) on the Colette blog and, recently, A Fashionable Stitch.
