How does one improve on a candle flame? And why? When the flame photographs as white and the photographer wants color. And perfection is to be sought even if unattainable. My image is not perfect, and am not sure its an improvement....but there is more color.

its beautiful and appreciated by a painter who has encountered the same problem. the white shows the degree of heat but takes away a degree of interestingness...(<I know that's a word...Flickr told me so)
