Swarms of swallows were in the bird refuge waiting to migrate south. I took multiple photographs of them, and created layers of different sizes. Looked swarmy, but not dramatic enough. So I added color and blacked out the background. I then added the big bird and replced a previously posted version on Flickr. This image appeared, and here it is.
This photo was taken on September 2, 2008 in Pine Island, Newbury, MA, US, using an Olympus C750UZ.
