1. I'm a Master's Clinical student at my local university and even though I love what I want to do (I did my internship last/this year), I can't stand the hypocrisy in my program.
2. When I was little, I was convinced I was going to be an artist. Nowadays? I barely find the time to doodle :(
3. I'm addicted to books. Literally addicted to books - I practically salivate at the sight of them.
4. This should probably be higher on the list as it has become my "thing" - I'm also addicted to Doctor Who. I'm a Doctor/Rose girl all the way. CE, DT and BP simply melt me (lol). Because of this addiction I've been drawn to other UK shows (Black Books, Being Human, Torchwood, The IT Crowd, etc.).
5. I have fun learning html (even if it's just a little bit).
6. I love Hello Kitty - it's a love that's been with me since childhood and I found a coin purse in a parking lot of a gasoline station where I was getting off the car with my mom. Yup - that's how it all began. However, I didn't actually own anything of hers (I lost that coin purse, sadly) until I was old enough to buy it for myself (late teens-early twenties).
7. I spend most of my time being honestly happy/content. Things make me mad, sad, worried, etc. but I spent so much of my teenage/young adult years being so miserable that I no longer see the point in it.
8. I think I've actually become less patient. No less kinder, mind you. I'm just a bit more to the point now. No idea if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
9. The way people treat each other really scares/saddens me.
10. I've been with my boyfriend for almost 7 years now and still going strong - this seems to confuse people in my town.
11. I don't drink, do drugs, club and I still have tons of fun.
12. I honestly don't get bored - I always have things to do (some more fun than others). This also seems to confuse people.
13. I spend most of my time in classes (that are not clinical i.e. not my focus) rather confused because things seem to be common sense oriented. By the time I've realized that it's not so common, I'm left looking like the idiot that doesn't talk in class (lol).
14. I LIKE Starbucks coffee/hot chocolate/vanilla lattes. If McDonald's wouldn't water theirs down so much (applies to all), I'd like theirs instead.
15. I love tea. I haven't met a tea I didn't like (granted, haven't tasted many). So far: Earl Grey, Refresh (Tazo), Calm (Tazo) and simple black tea.
16. I've enjoyed LiveJournal so much. I've been a member for a couple of years now but did not really get into it until this past summer. It's great to interact with people who like the things I do. Also, html fun. heh.
17. I love all kinds of music. Top 40 (as long as it's not annoying!) to indie - I like what I like. I'm open to all sounds. I haven't been to a concert in the longest time (sadly). I'd love to see The Swell Season (!!!). Hopefully I can get to see Blondie this month though :)
18. I should be working on my presentation for my thesis. Yeah.
19. I became ADDICTED to the Degrassi series lol. Also, Castle. And Bones. Netflix has ruined me.
20. I will watch ANYTHING with Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and Billie Piper in it. Some are hits (Secret Diary) others are misses (Secret Smile - ewwwwwwww! but yay! DT!).
21. My idea of a relaxing and fun time is cuddling with my boyfriend, watching a movie or tv show (if he's indulging me, it's Doctor Who) or reading a book or sleeping.
22. We had a streak of good movies at the theater: Easy A, Let Me In, It's a Funny Story, The Social Network - GREAT movies :)
23. I am good friends with the secretary in my department. She's honestly one of the most normal people in that building lol.
24. I love vegetables. Broccoli and carrots are my favorites.
25. My favorite drinks are as follows: water, tea, Dr. Pepper, Sprite
*Bonus* Cadbury milk chocolate kicks Hershey's ass. Sorry Hershey fans.
