    I haven't read any Judge Dredd comics, would you reccomend a good one to start with? As a big Anthrax fan I feel obligated to learn more about Mr. Dredd.

    Phew that's a tough one, Dredd's been around since the late 70s (I think); I've only read some of his exploits from the 90s and the current stuff so I'm not sure what to recommend. In general these are some of the classics, from what I gather:
    The Cursed Earth
    Block War
    The Apocalyse War
    The Judge Child
    Judgement Day (I can vouch for this one-great story and the ramifications of it are still important in the current stories)
    Any early stories with Judge Death

    I haven't seen them but I hear the small run Dredd had in DC guise was really poor.
