Mak Strahl Schneeleopard

Second entry, as promised, more of a 'traditional' starfighter look. Maybe a little too much starfighter, not enough MaK? Originally the "wings" weren't at a right angle to the main axis of the ship (which looked better) but the connection was really clumsy. I almost rebuilt the ship on a vertical orientation, maybe later...

Thanks to Tromas for creating the competition, I was not familiar with MaK before but it's always good to widen one's library of inspiration.

Also thanks to Rammstein for providing some excellent tunes whilst building.

    I was totally with you on the thumb, but the Hello Kitty totally grabbed me by the hair and melted my face off. Those wangs coming out of the dome part are cool doodads, too. I agree the fence parts kind of give it that submarine look mentioned, but I feel like MaK space is kind of like that, anyway.

    Yes ... these little spheres have shifted my art medium from origami to magnet sculpture ... zens are the best quality ones (reflective clarity, strength, consistent size) that I use exclusively now ... grab them before their supplies dwindle ... zenmagnets.com/
