Taps is played on the bugle in the winter snow at Arlington National Cemetery
Feb 9, 2009 - A bugler from the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" plays taps at the burial service Wednesday in Arlington National Cemetery for former Sgt. Maj. of the Army William G. Bainbridge.
"Taps" is played on the bugle or trumpet, at a distance (30-50 yards) from the grave site. During this time the “Final Salute” is given. (A shortage of qualified buglers has led to the use of prerecorded versions of the song being used. The group Bugles Across America is attempting to combat this practice.)

What an incredible photo! Do you know who took it and where I can get permission to use it in a tribute video?

Very sensible capture. Well done!
If you don't mind some postpro you might want to consider desaturating the flowers in the bottom right, as this would lessen the distraction from the man...
