      Honored Guard

We watched the casket passing by
      The honor guard stood tall
      Another soldier coming home
      Who’d answered country’s call

      Just another soldier now
Who came back from the test
      Just another soldier
Who had fallen on his quest

      Hallowed ground of honor,
      No glory did he seek
See the endless row of headstones
      Silently they speak

      Slowly blows the bugle
To remind us of the price
As they laid to rest this soldier
      Freedoms child of sacrifice

I used your photo on a blog post that I did today on Veterans Day as part of my continuing posts entitled 30 Words. I describe something in exactly 30 words and have a corresponding photo to enhance the experience. Your photos are stunning and so meaningful. Thank you for sharing them.
