Lovely crop, color, and focus. Just wish I could smell that perfume wafting on the breeze.

Nice. Looking forward to Christmas morning. Strongly suspect Santa to drop a 60 Macro down the chimney this year. Give you a run for your lenses, even if in pieces, next year. Merry Christmas Wayne to you and your family.// Dennis

Thank you Deb. It's another favorite flower I like to shoot. Most of the seed packet ones are no longer fragrant. Looks like while breeding for color, the fragrance was lost. I only let the fragrant ones thrive. A very delicate perfume...
      Thank you Jackie!
      Thanks Terr!
      Mahalo Chris!
I'm glad you got to sit on Santa's lap to tell him what you wanted. If you haven't been naughty, I guess he'll see that you get your wish. Heard the 60 macro is a fine lens. I want the new 105, but I haven't been good since I've treated lenses so badly this year, so maybe next year. Same to you, my friend. May you and your family have a good one!

Wayne, I did get a chance to speak with a guy who has used the 60 and 105 extensively in product photography. (Pretty excellent work). He told me that he went back to the 60 from the 105 because of 2 reasons: 1 he actually was too far away from his subjects with the 105 AND the 105 caused visibly more color aberration than the 60. FWIW. Since most of my macro is the non moving kind, I decided to stick with the 60. We will see.... Aloha.

...those nine rounded blades should make for some nice OOF areas. I was considering the 60 also, but I like the working distance of my current 105. Really love the lens, but its 7 straight blades result in polygonal highlights which are not pleasing IMO. Anxious to see what you can do with the 60!
