Pet goose on a Grace Street porch

Geese live here. There's at least one other, a gray one. I can hear them honking from my house when I have the windows open. Sometimes I see their person taking them for a walk.

This goose was honking plenty before I walked up. I seem to have caught him with his bill shut (for a change).

I have friends who used to live in Ginter park who had a pet goose. The guy stuck close to home; there was no need for a fence.

This house has an enclosed yard, but these geese don't seem to stray, though they could easily flutter over the fence. When they go for a walk, they're not on a leash. They just follow their person.
