    P.S. Last time I was in a Kiehl's store an employee was trying so hard to sell me on the practice of mixing Kiehl's musk with OTHER scents, namely some kind of cinnamon essential oil. Such a weird Kiehl's hack.

    Also, can we talk about this?

    Claire, I have my priorities. I feel like whatever Kiehl's hack wants to mix musk with something else should get expelled from the Kiehl's kingdom. Because I'm really, really not into their essential oils. Even the musk essential oil pales in comparison. It also always makes me break out. The perfume, though, to quote Rachel Zoe: I die. I love the sweet, sweet fade on the glass bottles. Forest Rain I have seen but I refuse to allow something to touch my skin with a name that sounds like an incense carried at a bodega. I also think your Bliss lipsalve is a VERY classy touch.

    when i was lil' my mom used to clean my ears with that bamboo cleaning stick. she'd lay my head in her lap while she sat on the floor and it would sometimes hurt because she'd get distracted and yell at my dad or something while she was jabbing the precise little stick at my eardrum. wo. ow.

    I appreciate your reticence, but there is something appealing to me about a company that up until now only carried one perfume...introducing a second one. It must be great! And it has vetiver in it, which is maybe my second favorite scent after Kiehl's musk. I will smell it and then we can talk.
