My Shining Star!
Taken at Heceta Head Lighthouse! I really wanted this shot BAD!..It was hard to get the timing & press the shutter at the right moment but finally sucess! I encouraged the guys. Eric & my Bro Greg to stay & while Eric & I were Yapping like a bunch of school girl..per Greg!! "insert rolling my eyes" lol..Greg got a great long exposure with some star trails. :-)

Good morning Sis! These turned out great. Glad you finally got your lighthouse beam. It was getting dark enough for the beam to show up against the deep blue of the evening sky. It was fun being out here figuring out the timing of that beam.

Oh my goodness! Not just one, but TWO fabulous shots! Gosh Lynn, everything is just perfect with these two shots... I love the clarity, the blue, the silhouettes and especially the reflection of light (top shot) on the rippling surface of the water. Well done, sweetie!

You know you had mentioned that place on your wall that needed something - well you're looking at it! In fact, everybody could put this beauty above their sofas and have that space well and truly satisfied. Seriously, this is so beautiful! Between you and Greg, you have covered every shade of blue imaginable. Plus, to have Venus balancing above that stack and the light pointing toward it, is quite simply comp perfect. It was so much fun to listen and watch you work your way through all the issues to get this one - ISO, exposure, timing the light - really fun and educational.

Truly wonderful image, the rocks silhouetted against the orange shaft of light is quite exquisite. An all round superb image.

I think I have said just not so long ago I had seen your best landscape but I think you have bettered it again and I am sure you will this one in the furure. Although I just can't imagine how at this moment in time.
This has everything. The colours are stunning. The water smoothed over perfect. The silhouetted rocks sharp as a tack. The beam from the light sharp as a tack. is that even the star light throwing itself across the water? **sigh**

Just totally beautiful, it must have been quite magical to be out there...WOW! You really are quite good at these landscape shots, I have told myself a million times I should do more and learn more about landscapes, but they don't quite interest me enough to get it all going! We are heading over to WA coast this Friday to camp so maybe I will take a stab at a few. You rock my friend! HUGS! m-
