Been busy doing what I love & learning.

It's been almost one year exactly since I have been to my favorite spot on the Oregon Coast. Brought back some poignant memories for me, but that is all about moving forward. I was able to explore some of the outer regions this time that all you Big Bad @$$ photographers get to. No epic sunrise(YES...I did say sunrise lol)..but had some nice wave action & was even able to get a few rainbows over the waves..that was pretty exciting.

I will leave comments on.....for those of you that MUST comment...Be forewarned..I will comment or fave when I can. I don't spend as much time on-line these days.

My Friend Sally took these photo's of me & I thought time I posted a new photo of myself..because I realize...I have "matured" (*** gulp****) okay...aged!....:-) In the last few years & from my very first one I have on here..I look like a baby..lol

I LOVE these & I Love that look of real happiness on my face. I'm thankful for friends that have been there for me this year! 2012 is GONNA be GOOD!

I call this little place “Little house on the Palouse Prairie”
Eric & I on our Palouse trip mainly traveled on dirt roads. That is where the good stuff is. We where on our way to Palouse Falls & he decided to take a road to the right which was in the oppisite direction of our way to the Falls & I thought “why the heck, we going this way”..Well I could have done what women usually do & started arguing about why this wasn’t a good thing but hey, we were on an adventure & who knew what we may come across. We come upon this little house in the middle of nowhere & we both said “OMG!..Look at that!!” I believe we stopped in the middle of the road…not really a big deal in the Palouse. We both knew we had to get there somehow. We see the BIG sign that said in no uncertain terms they are VERY serious about NO TRESPASSING.
Next we look at the road going in. No one had been on it. Blue & yellow flowers & ruts up to my wheel wells. Uhmmmm! Not sure….I have a van, NOT a 4wheel drive….Eric is saying…I’m not going there Lynn!!! I said Ohhh Hell yeah we are Eric even If I have to drive there. He I guess decided I shouldn’t drive..I guess he trusted himself better….so with one wheel on the high rut & one bordering the wheat…onward we went. Wheat scratching the side of the van..me looking behind & Eric gripping the steering wheel of my van with white knuckles. We get 1/2 way in & here comes a truck down the road…Kinda hard to hide a silver van in the middle of a wheat field…(We hoped he was busy talking on his cell phone)….So sweating bullets we get closer to the house…run…fire off some shots & get out of there as quickly as possible….We came back on our last day & shot the long image with the whispy clouds with long lens from the road. Both of us decided that we didn’t want to risk it….The plan now is to go back….lets just say we have it planned out…OH Wait…we can actually get permission…..That is just way to easy…:-)
