Tawny

    A lovely Edwards's Fritillary (Speyeria edwardsii) feeds on a thistle. Went for a short day-hike yesterday at Vedauwoo in south-east WY; it's been a wet year, and it made for more wildflowers and more butterflies than I've ever seen there!

      I do not know this one but like most fritillaries it is an attractive species.
