Collafirth Pier, Shetland

On the last day of Christmas... last batch. In the spirit of giving @ Christmas (and a blatant attempt to boost the Scottish percentage for the last quarter of 2011 and use up lots of pictures from where I live) all these images are from Shetland... some easy, some harder - maybe? Happy Xmas ;o)

      Collafirth Pier, Shetland
      WGS84: 60:32.3870N 1:21.0704W
A small but sheltered pier with only a few berths for pleasure craft but also the 'home' pier for Shetland's largest pelagic supertrawler LK429 Altaire. The Altaire only berths here when tied up between fishing 'seasons'. Her main catch is of herring, mackerel and blue whiting.

Other than the trawler at a 'holiday' pier, I don't know what the odd one out is.

Right location, didn't realise so many people had 'geographed' this! The oddity is not to do with the trawler...

Have to leave the bonus for someone else then.
I had to 'trawl' around the coast to find this on satellite view :-( Of course I went the long way round from my starting point. Doh!

There's 1000 miles of coastline here - could have been a long night!

Funny little lighthouse in someones garden?

Yes, it's the lighthouse, taken apart and in someone's garden.
