Hoswick/Channerwick, Shetland
In the spirit of giving @ Christmas (and a blatant attempt to boost the Scottish percentage for the last quarter of 2011 and use up lots of pictures from where I live) all these images are from Shetland... some easy, some harder - maybe? Happy Xmas ;o) Point for location of 'take' or anything in view.

Very nice!
And a different challenge again - I'm getting to like Shetland, and I've never been there. Something I must put right very soon!

My friends think I should work for the tourist promotion according to the amount of photos I put on Facebook. I'm very passionate about it. After years living in London, it offers something a bit different!

Foula on the horizon?

Not an island in sight for this one - all the land you see here is part of the Mainland.

Oh yes the sunset is in the south of south west on a Shetland December day?
So is that Sumburgh Head on the horizon and you are looking across Hos Wick and Channer Wick, with Hallilee the big hill in the centre foreground?

Yes, the foreground is Hoswick and the rising land on the horizon to the extreme left is indeed Sumburgh Head.
