(New) Toys R Us; North Haven, CT

A brand-new Toys R Us in North Haven, Connecticut had its grand opening on July 3, 2009. This store replaced the 1996 Hamden store and is the first store built from the ground up since the relocated "concept" Waterbury store in 1997. This Toys R Us is currently the only store in Connecticut with the "new" logo and design.

While this current design doesn't reflect the origins of the joyous rainbow-striped look, at least there's some array of color and that sign is undoubtedly a throwback.

Nice looking store, I do see some creativity. I've always thought Toys R Us had the most fun, creative storefronts.

This looks nice, I hope many other of their stores adopt this look. Is this part of a larger shopping center?

Why is it the Toys R Us stores I always see or go into are ghetto? Both Des Moines stores look kind of dated on the outside and this one I went to in Everett, Washington was extremely ghetto...

This is part of a larger shopping center that was just built this year.
