ride

Finally got around to buying my own bike, which I will be using to commute everyday from home to the lab. It's a pretty retro Schwinn. I bought it off craigslist. I'm loving it so far. Feels good to ride a vehicle that is powered by the user itself.

Only for $180?! How is that possible? I love, love it. I have a 1967 [I think] blue Hollywood Schwinn cruiser. It's a tank.

This is supposedly from the late 60s as well, I was told by the people from a bike shop (I took it to for an overall check). They also said almost all parts were original. And it rides so sweet. I love it.

yeah she is in excellent shape, and like the OP said, these things were built like tanks. Check the left side rear dropout for the serial number that'll tell you the month and year for when she was built, but definitly late 60's

I love the old classic schwinns, but i cant help to love my new madison.
