Blimey this is a great shot! So calm and peaceful. I love the strong contrast between the bright water/sky and the almost silhouetted land with the mist in between. Good job!

Thank you for your kind comment on my stream. I see by your stream that you are an excellent photographer. You mentioned that you would like to make your photos appear more painterly, so I would suggest that you try some textures. It really does render your image in a new way. There are several texture groups on here and many provide tutorials. Good luck! I'd like to know how it turns out!
