Brean down sunset
My first real HDR.
The others have been reprocessed RAWs, but this is 3 exposures a stop
apart.
The scene is from Weston-super-Mare beach, at the Uphill end looking
towards Brean Down and the island of Steepholme in the distance.

Rock! That is a very nice photo. I'm usually not too keen on HDR mainpulation, but this image looks awesome. I'd agree that this image was like a shooting star if I knew what that meant...

one of a photo i like very well in your gallerie.
i would cut the floor about one inch which focus the eyes more on the sky.
so it seems a bit 1/2- 1/2, half sky and half floor.
i think it is better to focus either on sky or on floor, depands on which is more interesting.

Woah, this is surreal. I can't make my mind up about HDR but when used like this it is awesome! It makes it a completely different artform. I think what i a trying to say is that i don't like it when used too subtly. I love it!
