Golden Alberta
This was taken along highway 6 just outside Waterton Lakes National Park. The view on top of this hill where I was standing is - for a lack of a better word - breathtaking. The sun was setting and a strong tint of yellow and orange caressed the land. One of the most beautiful sceneries I have ever seen. I hope I did it justice.
I used a focal length of 50mm so what you see here is what I saw that day.

What an amazing shot! It packs everything in that I like: Contrasts with deep black, lighting, differenciated colors, great view, ambiance, mountains and somewhat epical. My congrats!

Really, really good composition. Lovely shot. I'm always interested when I see such a yellow hue in shots like this, to know if any post processing was done with yellow filters or yellow color saturation?
