Sweet rendition ,nice detail in both black
and white plumage , flash fill with the 400mm
lens , impressive. When I try that I often
get a white eye effect which is not pleasing,
any tricks to avoiding that?
Thanks Ron. I have no tricks for avoiding
the flashed eye effect, just luck. Sometimes
happens, sometimes not. If it happens on an
image that I want to keep, I just zoom in on
the eye in Photoshop and fix it. That was not
necessary with this image.

That is a very nice image of a Magpie-lark. The green background is terrific.
