Thanks Julian. This was pre-signage. I'm not convinced the signage was warranted.
Stuart, Geoffrey and Tobias, amongst others,
got some good images from the subsequently
forbidden area without any disturbance to the
Painted Snipe. Next time we meet, I'll be happy to give you
my personal observations of the whole saga.

Very nice Leo. I wasn't game to get so close given the signage and potential outrage! This is terrific and well worth the patience etc.
