The Kiss
I was official photographer yesterday at the fantastically beautiful wedding of my friends Lizzie and Ari, at Saint Anthony's Chapel in Holyrood Park.
I don't know if I'm going to have much time for more photo editing today, so this is sort of a sneak preview.

Great capture. Would have to see the other photos to judge completely, but if it were my wedding, this would likely be my very favorite. If a person could take a photograph of a feeling, this would be it.

Keith, perhaps you have a point - I've seen it on a different monitor now where the sepia looks distinctly less subtle than it does here. I've uploaded an alternative version with less sepia on Deviant Art. What do you think?

Thank you, everyone, for such lovely comments! And I have to say, it's quite reaffirmed my faith in humanity that this hasn't drawn more unpleasantness from homophobes. Only one out-and-out hateful comment (immediately deleted) and just one or two kinda daft BUT WHERE IS THE HUSBAND type ones, out of 45+ comments and more than 2,500 views (not to mention lots of nice ones on my LiveJournal and 9 more comments on the Manolo for Brides entry this inspired).
I know it's still way too soon to sound a death knell for homophobia, but I take the reception of this photo as a sign that things are on the up...
