Where did you find such a knowledge of naming clouds ?

In the wondrous Cloudspotter's Guide! It is my favourite book of the moment, even if the elaborate naming schemes sometimes seem a bit silly. :) It's somehow quite satisfying being able to put a name to things, all the same.

I saw these on a pleasant afternoon sitting in Holyrood Park with the book and my camera and a spectacular changing skyscape... To the best of my knowledge, there are few better ways to spend a sunny afternoon!
