Washed Away
Another take on Thor's Well at Cape Perpetua. This was one of the last pictures I took before deciding the water was just a little to high for me to want to continue...
Yes, it is as close as it looks. This is 16mm.

Oh sweet Nate! This is a really cool take on the well here. The water looks higher then the other ones I've seen. I love the wave action and how it's being sucked into the well. I'll make it here for sure one day. And when I do, I'm diving right on in. :)

@greg - this was one of the last ones I took before deciding that it would be smart to walk away.

Nice Nathan! This is about the point I would roll out too.:) once one of those sneakers pops up and the water rushes over and hits you around your knees it doesn't really feel very safe anymore. Nice water action!

Seriously nuts.
I'll take my chances with dark alleys and leave this craziness to the true hardcore photographers.....

This is awesome Nathan....love the amount of water you got here. this is a tide sensitive area.....both incoming tides and low tides can be good but at a high tide this is sometimes filled with water and never seen!!!!
