Thor's Well
When I went to the coast a couple of weeks ago this was the one spot I wanted to go. The whole trip I was all about pitching this spot. So when we finally made it here for a late lunch, I skipped the food and ran (not walked) down to the "well".
(Un?)Officially named Thor's Well, this is one spectacular feature. With each incoming wave it shoots water out like a geyser, then that water drains back in creating the fantastic cascade.
While you can see it from the over look, it's so far away and right near the edge so it is hard to distinguish it from the incoming waves.To truly appreciate this you have to stand just a couple of feet next to it (i.e. where I am standing to take this). From there you can really see what is going on. Although, whatever you do though, don't fall in!
