Something creepy on this one....
Something like a Sleepy Hollow's tree.

If your objective was, to show us a confusing picture, you succeeded. There is no clear line and the black and white makes it look dangerous or creepy. Good work.

I think is a great image, very good approach to a common scene. The foremost merits are the use of a relatively short DOF to drive attention to the center making all the branches to drive the eye to the sharpest point. Interesting interaction with the clouds too I think the little of sky present helps to interact with the shape of branches.
There is a lot of sentiment in this simple scene, but I couldn't describe exactly what sentiment is it, as controversial as this could appear it's a merit of the image.
Like the choice of black and white and the fact that the black tree really pops out against this background.

I like this picture, but I have to admit, it's not very interesting. I wish there was a main point of focus here, maybe a bird or an ornament or something. I think the point of view is fantastic, but the overall image is too simple, especially when converted into black and white. I like the lines that the branches create against the sky, it looks very nice. This is a very clean, sharp image, I just wish it was a little more interesting. How does it look in color?

The photo is a bit cliche. But still, I like it. There's a bit of sense of symmetry although it's clearly not very symmetrical. The branches have a good angle, and in combination with the background sky, which leads the eyes through the image from bottom to top.
The lack of color adds quite an eerie-ness to the image (a good thing imo).

i like the mood here. some what gloomy and melancholic. the DOF, POV and B&W works nice. i think there is a story here, im just not sure, maybe you'd like to convey the said moods.

Overall i like this image. Great choice to convert to bw it gives a real eerie feel to the picture.
i like the symetry too and the dof is perfect leading the eye from the bottom of the tree up to the top.
i think maybe the crop is a little to tight ? would of been intersting to see a wider shot

very interesting point of view and focus. i love the patterns and details in this image. the use of black and white suits it well, as it really adds to the mood here. i love the extreme focus on the tree itself and how you can see the interesting textured bark.
