The dark clouds and bleak sky fit well with the sad story

A sad spot and this is a good piece of photo documentary. I think the choice to go black and white is good here. The main subject is well lit, so that works well and it gives the sky some forboding which somehow seems apt. Did you take anymore, perhaps going into more detail on the mesasges and flowers? Nice work

Great composition with about 1/3rd pf road, building and sky respectively. You also have lines leading in from the left side towards the subject that is on the right. Very nice but it makes it hars to see what is within the enclosure, I would have liked to see a shot taken from a little higher so that the insides of the enclosure would be visible.

The exposure seems to be spot on, the sun and the sky might be a bit overblown but it does not show/matter here.

The processing is great. Making it a black and white fits the subject well and gives it a very bleak and ominous feeling. I think perhaps that adding a little bit more contrast might strengthen the feeling even more.

      Interesting description and atmospheric shot.
The exposure is good. You had too shot in the direction of the sun but still it looks quite great. The leading lines are well done. Directly from the left lower corner up to the right side. Just like it should be, following the literature.
The overall impression is definitely just the way it should be, regarding the subject. The sun-strokes are like a sign for hope. That's really well done.
      What I don't like:
The sky looks quite noisy and is a little bit too soft for my taste.
A small detail I definitely don't like: The dark pole at the left side of the enclosure. It's not much but could be cloned out easily.

I think I like this shot more from a journalistic standpoint than from an artistic one. However that said, I like the way you have positioned the focal point object in your frame. I would have liked to see more clarity in the outside objects and the whole thing seems a bit too dark even for the subject matter.

But as a memorial shot of an terrible incident, this is well caught. It is well worth a photo to mark it in history.

Its a good editorila style of photo which the black and white helps give more weight to. The light is quite soft which helps give the secen a peaceful feel after the events have died away and suits the theme of the memorial very well. The composition is nice with the main subject well placed and the sky adding a sense of something more powerful.
The emptyniess of the surroundings also gives a kind of forgotten theme that contrast well with the memorial and allows me as the viewer to quietly reflect on the events that happned here with no further distractions. Nice shot I like it.

An image that tells a story. A true testement to how a photo should be made. Nice job.
