4287 A Pair of Hooded Mergansers

I had a wonderful day of birding and photography yesterday down the Jersey shore. Saw a lot of birds and ducks, and took over 500 photos! I took this shot of Hooded Mergansers at Twilight Pond in Point Pleasant.

And a mighty fine shot too! These ducks are so elusive and I can't even get close enough to get a half way decent shot. Well done!

Thanks Jerry! I was lucky. The first time I went by the lake they were swimming away from me. I went around a second time and then they were close and even swimming towards me!
