    This week on flickr: dueling themes! It's bugs verses textures in the battle of the century! In this corner we have textures and patterns, close-ups of mundane objects! (Like pants, for example!)

      jeans or non-denim pants? looks almost metallic in very small and very large sizes.

      @Alicia: Thanks! I would have preferred a somewhat larger window of focus, but this was the best my lens could do. :)

      @este11e: Yeah, I know! They're really funny looking up close. These are APC jeans -- sturdy stuff!

      Hi Alicia! My camera has a single built-in lens, so I can't change it out at all, sadly. But the macro mode is pretty good, so I've been having a lot of fun playing around with it. :)
