Spiritual Battles
I love the shadow in this picture, don’t you?
I won't comment much about the verses because I don't think I can put them better than the Apostle Paul did. The message is very clear.
You see sometimes I get bored from studying on my desk, so I go study on my bed. There is something really cozy about studying on the bed. Every time I study there I look in the mirror and think, “Man, this reminds me of a verse!” So one day I turned off the ceiling lights and turned on the table lamp and I thought to myself, “This can make a very decent photo!”
So I took three shots to make an HDR image, and after adding those verses and some editing I think it is ready to join my other flickr photos :)
I really like it. I hope you like it too :)

SPECTACULAR! The message is loud and clear on this one brother. How often we see only the physical symptoms and "war" against these.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments :)
And I agree with you 'el nino dios' about the lighting, but there is not much I could do about it :(
You see my camera has the auto bracketing option but when it does that it, it takes 3 shots quickly so when there is not enough light such as in this scene, the images don't appear really good since the shutter was not kept open for too long. Hopefully one day when I get a DSLR my photos will improve :) Thanks for your comment :)

I like the light! It suits the theme and stirs up the same emotions that I feel when I struggle in prayer. I wouldn't change it a bit.

"...we make captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ".
This is an ideal which we can approach asymtotically. Our thoughts and feelings come to conscious awareness from several different regions of the brain, including the limbic system, source of hunger, defensive and aggressive anger, and lust. Neural impulses from the limbic system come to consciousness unbidden, and constant vigilance is required to banish thoughts inconsistent with our Christian faith.
This image is powerful and, as always, thought provoking.
