Well spotted Aprevit, believe me she looked worse without the treatment. The statue suffers from three problems
1: Weathering has reduced the detail in her features.
2: The Winter sunlight was in a position which meant she was getting the full on spotlight treatment.
3: The material is smooth marble and colour is bordering on white making the statue highly reflective.
The high contrast I gave this image to increase the drama and impact (paticuarly the motto at the top and the central figure) did this poor woman no favours and required remedial action, however you spotted my elastoplast oh well.

I like the touch of blue. But that won't save it.

I like this alot, but dont think its safe worthy for the reasons above (overblown contrast etc) - which is a shame as its a nice image, and now a fave

The idea is good, but this is not tecnicamente perfect.

Or even technically perfect ;0)

Good photo, but I have to agree, the lady on the right seems a bit overexposed. This is likely, as you mentioned, partly due to the reflective nature of the marble.
Still, I can't save it, sorry.

Hmmm...I'm not a fan of the crop or the tilt or the light here, subject is relatively interesting but I think you could have done more with this at a different angle

I think it's a great subject- especially like the inscription and the blue windows but I think the two statues on the sides are overexposed
