Brill Windmill
The Windmill at Brill was built around 1680. It is built on a central
post so that the whole body of the mill can be turned to face the
wind. The round house at the base of the mill is a much later
addition; the first roundhouse being built in 1865, the current one
being built in 1948. The mill was last used for milling barley in
1915.
The landscape of deep hollows around the mill are the result of clay
extraction for the production of bricks and pottery, which began
around 1000 years ago

Thanks thats really nice of you to say so. I took this yesterday, we went up to the windmill after visiting Boarstall duck decoy first (also worth a visit)

I did details when I was there, must try some more general shots. Boarstall good too, and nice buildings in both villages.
