    Blackpearlz Yeah I think that’s what nooona means, when people live abroad n come back to their hometown.. they get culture shocked.. well I get it when im in my own country:S .. yeah Walla the abayaz look more like nightgowns :S its either TOO tight .. or TOO shafaf . ..

    But the accessories look stylish in my opinion * depends on the quality n quantity * some girls over do it.. bas its not 7aram I guess.. its how girls show off their sense of style..

    As you know the abaya limits a girl from expressing her self * style wise* so by makeup n accessories they're expressing themselves.. n as for the witch makeup LOOOOL tell me about it .. fhamna ena ch7aal and blackening the eye contour is part of our beautiful culture and tradition but the full black eye shadow is like ch7aal gone mad!! dear lord are these girls trying to look like drag queens? cuz they're doing an excellent job!

    Well ur right! fashion has become a religion in a sense that people follow fashion more than they follow religion! sad but true.

    N as for having fashionshows, Women usually pray within their household while men go and pray in the Mosque.. there is a section for women.. but very few go there. No we dont have fashionshows in our Mosques. a Mosques is holy place in which people pray and listen to religious lectures given by the (Emam) *muslim preist. How is it possible to have fashionshows in Churches ? i also saw on tv that they started raping in churches too?!

    just a lil clarification

    an emam is not a muslim priest ... the priest concept does not exist in islam

    an imam is simply the one who leads ... who has more knowledge of religion .. however he lives a normal life .. weds ... eats .. and does exactly what he "advises" others to do if not more .. in his sermons he uses none of his own opinion and preaches the quran and sunah....

    i know what u meant when u said that .... but things this lil sometime need clarification :D especially when conveying the concept to non-muslims
