Crafternoon 47:365

    I usually stop by joanies one day a week during nap time (her kids, not us) =) I will pick up coffee and we chat, catch up. A few weeks back she had the idea of us working on crafts while we hang out, since we're both always in the middle of making something. So we sit and work, chat and drink coffee. It's pretty awesome!
    SHe was making card and I *attempted* to make a necklace/scarf thing out of an old t-shirt.

      t-shirt yarn?! have you knit anything or crochet with t-shirt yarn? its on my to-do list. im hoping to find a whole lot of t-shirts at the thrift store and crochet a rug for the kitchen or bathroom!
      (and time spent with friends like that, is precious, isnt it?)

      I actually was trying to make a scarf/necklace thing out of an old t-shirt. I see them a lot and some of them are really cute! Mine was not. I kept trying it on different ways and Joanie kept suggesting ideas to perk it up. Didn't happen. She finally said, "you could give it to someone as a gift!" She better be careful she might just get it for her birthday. Haha!
