Saw this developing a bit late, and consequently it was a mad dash to a suitable viewpoint. This was the best I could get to in the available time. It was a stunning show

Bit of a salvage job this one, as the light wasn't great and we got there at the wrong time of day. Really liked the location though and planned to go there for a dawn shoot on the way home the next day. Unfortunately the bad weather set in and we gave up on the idea.
I've seen some great shots from here, and this place is definitely one for next time

The worst weather on the holiday, but nowhere near as bad as we anticipated. Not the best of lighting conditions for this shot though, and unfortunately didn't have a opportunity to revisit. Will do one day though
