No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow~
I've been away from Flickr for ages o.O Somehow I feel Flickr isn't as great as it used to be... Now everybody is on Facebook or 500px.
If you wish to follow my work you can join my Facebook site. I'm a lot more active there than I'm on Flickr. You can see a lot of portrait and wedding shots over there and not just selfies and crappy bokeh flowers *lol*

I get the same feeling about flickr,,,but im no fan of facebook or twitter either lol,,,,,,,,
This is such a pretty shot and you are sooo right in saying that no matter how winter is,,,spring always follows,,, eventuallly BIG SMILES and HUGS ;-))))

Flickr is exactly the same as it as always been, i think the comments you get on your flickr page are more relevant than the comments you get on facebook, you might think this shot is a crappy bokeh shot, but lots of people like these kinds of shots, they also like your selfies, there very individual and have your trademark style. The trouble with wedding and portrait photos is that there not quite as unique, yes the lighting can be interesting, the models beautiful, the bride and grooms happy faces, but are they really better than your other work, especially your selfies, you obviously prefer your portrait and wedding photos, but a lot of people will always prefer your more personal work, to be fair you have moved on with your photography and maybe facebook is more suited to showcasing your wedding photography, personally i cant stand facebook, but half a billion people love it so it cant be all bad i guess.

Flickr does feel different. You can post a shot you really like and buddies comment sometimes, if it has been on for more than a few hours it is lost in the mists of time is the feeling I get.
These are lovely flowers by the way, and it is a shame not to have seen your stuff. Hope you are well and thriving in all respects.
