story of a face
Would love to tell you his story but unfortunately all I've got is this photograph. Adrenaline was pumping and I couldn't even remember to ask for his name.
I would've preferred a little more depth of field but in the end I'm quite content with this as his stare is all that I want.
Stranger #4.

That's one amazing portrait. I think you're fine with that depth of field, it focuses even more on the stare! I love it :) Gratz!

Awesome portrait and composition. I think the DOF is great.
Was this the one you were going to enter in WP comp? If so it's a shame you missed the deadline. Would have got my vote for sure!

intense shot well processed in b/w - speaks for itself, although as you say, there must have been quite a story to go with this face

Oh this is too awesome for words. I would favorite this three or four times if I could. Simply awesome. I hope I can pull that look off in a few years. It would be super handy at school.

I reckon the DOF has worked quite effectively because it has kept the focus firmly on his face!
