where i end and you begin

This industrial building that I drive past almost everyday has been bugging me for quite a while. It's just been begging to be shot! Finally decided to stop by after work today.

wow... this is a great shot.. because the first thing it makes me do is thinka bout scale...

it's really hard to perceive... which in this photo IMHO works!

great work... and well done! :-)

Great shot... great repetition, and the low contrast really makes it hard to grasp a sense of scale and perspective.
I would have increased the contrast, then dodged and burnt it and totally ruined it
      grains silos I guess??

      LucaRam thanks, done :-)

      ckfishel2001 thank you :-)

therealmarxz thanks for the suggestion, really appreciate it. i did start developing with high contrast, but after comparing that to this version i think i like this one more. maybe i didn't do it right - may try again later. re the silos, not entirely sure what they are - maybe grain silos as you said, will confirm that when i get the chance :-P
      thanks for dropping by! :-)

This is a great shot. The 'lopsided' problem comes from shooting up at an angle. Photoshop/Elements has a tool to correct this, but I haven't played with it yet. Might help...

There's a couple of factories I want to shoot, but it's a bit dangerous in those areas. Still, I'll just have to go and be super alert.
