It's been a while since I did anything approaching a photo a day, in any regard.

But I am finding Instagram a wee bit inspiring. Aiming to upload a photo a day this year, all taken, edited and posted on the iPhone.

So, here's January's, plus one extra for good luck (because I liked it, and am nerdy enough to *need* a full grid...).

Photographer Charlie Waite's rather beautiful new book, Arc & Line.

Surrounded by, erm, some arcs and some lines.

I think I was there when Charlie took this photo (I mean, not the iphone pic I've posted, obviously I was there for that one, since I took it...), the tiny, naturally lit corner of an Italian restaurant in Tuscany. The book is full of the beautifully interrelated shapes found in nature or architecture. Just lovely. Perfect for a Sunday spent without moving far from the table.

I'm such a sucker for wool shops, but must not be allowed to start knitting anything new until I've finished the project currently on the go. Restraint is all.

That said, looook at the lovely colours. ;)

Really must take the 'proper' camera out again one of these days. Getting a tad too into the iPhoneography thing.

Perhaps more chic than shabby.

Went to the New Covent Garden flower market just before Christmas, and finally found the time to blog about it here.

I took a bazillion pictures of flowers. They will be appearing at regular intervals, I feel quite sure.
