From a shoot I did with The Last Resistance for my university final major project (for the darkroom lecture). As I didn't make prints out of all the photos I scanned in the contact sheets and put photos from the contact sheets together as I liked more of the photos than I had time to enlarge! The shoot was in three parts; my initial ideas were still life so my first shoot was on the instruments, this is from the second part where they were setting up equipment. The third part was the band performing. This was their first gig! I was going for a documentary kind of style, focusing on the audience, the instruments and equipment and the band but not necessarily playing music. The shoots were inspired by Dominique Tarle, famous for the Exiled photos of The Rolling Stones living in France. Shot using black and white film, there was obviously lots of dust and scratches on the negs- I'm not careful enough with them but I quite like how it looks. I've decided mostly because of this shoot that I now want to focus on band photography. I need bands please! (I also prefer using film but I think thats mostly because I have more/better lenses for the film camera I'm currently using. Unfortunately it isn't mine and one day I will need to return it to my Uncle's friend ): )

These are from the first part, the instruments shot mostly with a macro lens. There are only two for this because they were 'left over'-I liked them enough to use them but I couldn't find another two photos I wanted to use with them. They are just photos of the wires.
