Kim Bridal ~ Bride in the Alley

another shot from the bridal shoot recently..

We had Kim Rock a pose with 5 yards of Tulle to make an interesting shot..

i wanted some fashion looking shot with impact attitude..

lighting was 2 speed lights from the rear and one quadra camera right for key

2 speed lights were bare @ 1/8 power aimed right at kim's back

my friend Ryan O Hicks boomed the quadra about 8 feet camera right @ 1.5 power

WoW!! Absolutely beautiful! The backdrop (street scene), the light, the pose, and the model - all perfect! Should be on the cover a bridal magazine - excellent work!

Great capture, though I don't think I'd use this setting for a bridal shoot. Love the concept, but it seems too dark and spooky for a bride. Jmho. Great job on the comp, exposure and lighting though!

What did you do for focusing? AF? There was sufficient light?

Great location and amazing pose. Love the effect or the rear lights as they light the alley behind her and filter through her veil. Nice balance of the ambient too... sweet shot man.
