Kate Senior ~ On The Grass Part 2

    Kate's senior photos..

we took these about 3 weeks ago.. and i am still working on them.. shows how far behind i am on edits !

but here is a light texture sepia blend that i am creating for my clients.

    it is a jessicadrossin texture....

lighting was Elinchrom Quadra boomed by her mother..

    grassy posing is pretty simple..

i call this ground posing.. (there are so many more posing options on the ground than standing straight up i think)
plus you can crop where you want too like i did here

lie on the ground and get all the angles that you can for more options..

the grass provides a simple and clean background..

light was camera right (broadlighted her) at about 1.5 power with the deep octa about 6 feet away

Nice job, however I think you are giving too much unnecessary space above her head. It could only be justified if she were looking up. Try cropping it a bit. Moreover, your "logo" is grabbing too much attention and my eyes keep jumping from model to it. You should make it smaller.
