Madeline Senior ~ The Lotus
Working with Madeline on her senior photos..
With her artistic creativity we were able to fashion something she and her family will cherish..
Madeline is in the Lotus Pose for her Yoga Art..
this turned out kinda like a windows desktop or magazine quality.. i am very happy with this one..
believe it or not.. it was super sunny and i had to put both of my AB1600's on one side and balance out the sun to her other side..
i was out to like F9-F11, ISO 50 i think..
so we showered her with 1200 some watts of power to get this shot..
makes me want a Elinchrom Ranger Rx haha..
i had both units with shoot thru umbrellas camera right and i had to clone out the edge of one of them so you know it was like 5-6 feet away from Maddy..
Both were full power

Pham, even your daytime sky shots are cool. This is a great spot on a hill for isolation of your subjects. Is this your evening sky place too...one of anyway?

You and the guys from down under on Potn show why even in the bright sun there's a need for light.

Dude awesome shot as always. The grass looks like a studio, I don't know how you get these awesome frames.
Do you ever gel the subject to get a cooler sky?

wow nice work!

no gels for the alien bees.. they put off a warmish light and i don't have to gel them..
we got lucky to have such a nice sky to work with.. key is not to shoot into the sun for this one.. but to shoot towards the none sunny part of the sky..
and also to find yourself a nice little hill so you can work towards any part of the sky you wish to work with.. lucky for me, i found this nice little hill to work on..

Very surreal and lovely. A fun senior shot. I struggle much with the bright light. Where exactly was the sun in this shot? Clearly not in front of her- ?
